A Word From The Owner...
My name is Lisa McCluskey. I grew up in Wainwright, Alberta and I lived in Calgary for 4 years while attending the University of Calgary where I obtained a degree in Communications with a minor in Management. Though I have never lived in Lloyd until now, I am no stranger to the city. My brother lives here and plays with the Midget AAA Tanroc Bobcats hockey team and my sister used to work at Cujo Conditioning.
A few years ago, my sister Sarah came across ONE TOOTH in Red Deer. Sarah, my mom, and I quickly became hooked on buying ONE TOOTH. It was such a good quality product at such a great price!
The idea for ONE TOOTH LLOYD actually came from Sarah and her job at Cujo Conditioning, where she noticed a lack of places to buy trendy workout gear in Lloydminster. She proposed the idea to my dad, which in turn got proposed to me. It really has been a whole family affair from the idea to all the work that has been put into building the store.
In July 2010, I went out to Vancouver to visit the ONE TOOTH warehouse, factory, and store. After seeing all of the product out there, I confirmed what a great retail business this was going to be for Lloydminster. As I’m sure all of you are wondering, I did find out why the store is called ONE TOOTH. In Chinese, it means “Good Faith” or “Good Fortune” and the franchise owner believes that all businesses must have “Good Faith” to survive.
I hope you will all love this product as much as I do. I am excited to join the thriving community of Lloydminster and hope to see you all around soon!
